“Winnie the Pooh”

1. Девочки приходят на пикник, расстилают плед, усаживаются. Д1 открывает книгу и читает про себя. Д2 и Д3 разговаривают между собой вполголоса. Вдруг Д2 замечает, что Д1 не участвует в разговоре, и обращается к ней:

Д2: Hey! What are you reading?

Д1: It’s “Winnie the Pooh and All, All, All” by Alan Alexander Milne.

Д3: Is it interesting?

Д1: I like it very much! It’s very funny and the characters have a lot of amazing adventures. My favorite character is Eeyore.

Д2: Isn’t it for children?

Д1: Not only. You can enjoy it at any age!

Д3: Let’s read it together!

Д1: O’K! Shall I begin?

(Д2 и Д3 кивают)

Д1 (читает книгу): Once upon a time there lived a little boy. His name was Christopher Robin. Christopher Robin was very clever and read a lot of books. He loved fairy tales and adventure stories. But he was just a child and most of all he loved doing nothing. He loved to imagine stories about his favourite toys: Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Gopher, Kanga and Roo. (Кристофер Робин сидит на полу, игрушки рассаживаются полукругом с ним в центре, выходя, когда Д1 их называет, делая паузы). Д1 передает книгу Д2. Все игрушки и Кристофер Робин уходят со сцены. Остается только Иа, очень грустный, стоит, пожевывая травинку, и вздыхает.

Д2: Here are some of these stories. One day an old little donkey Eeyore was standing on the river bank, very sad and pensive…

Появляется Винни Пух.

Винни Пух: Good morning, Eeyore!

Иа: Good morning, Winnie the Pooh! (уныло). Are you sure this morning is good? I’m not.

Винни Пух: Why? What is it?

Иа: It’s O’K. Forget it.

Винни Пух: But you look so sad.

Иа: Sad? It’s my birthday today. I can’t be sad.

Винни Пух: Your birthday???

Иа: Yes. Can’t you see presents and a lot of guests?

Винни Пух: Oh! No. Oh! Sorry! Happy Birthday!

Иа: Uhuh. You too.

Винни Пух: Wait a minute! Stay here. I’ll come back soon! (Убегает).

Все уходят со сцены (кроме девочек). Действие переносится к домику Винни Пуха. Винни Пух, только что расставшись с Иа, подбегает к своему дому и видит Пятачка, который пытается дотянуться до звонка.

Пух: Good morning, Piglet!

Пятачок: Good morning, Pooh!

Пух: What are you doing? Can I help you?

Пятачок: Please!

Пух позвонил в звонок. Они усаживаются у порога.

Пух: You know, it’s Eeyore’s birthday today. He has no presents at all.

Пятачок: That’s terrible! We must do something!

Пух: Think, think, think! Yes! I will give him a honey pot.

Пятачок: And I – I will give him a nice red ballоon!

Пух: O’k. Go home, take the balloon and run to Eeyore! See you there!

Пятачок: Aha!

Пятачок убегает. Пух идет с горшочком к Иа. Устал и присел на пенек.

Пух: It’s so hot! And I feel hungry! It’s time to have lunch. I’m so happy that I have this honey.

Съедает мед.

Пух: Ah! (в ужасе). It was a present! For Eeyore! Think, think, think! Well, this pot is very good. He can keep something useful in it. I will write Happy Birthday on it. But I can’t write. I will go to Owl. She can.

Довольный, отправляется дальше. Подходит к домику Совы.

Пух: Good morning, Owl.

Сова: Good morning, Pooh.

Пух: Happy Eeyore’s Birthday!

Сова: Oh.

Пух: I want to give him a present. This pot. Can you write “Happy Birthday” on it?

Сова: A nice pot. May be it will be our present?

Пух: No. Bad idea.

Сова: O’k. Пишет «Hapi Bisday» и показывает зрителям. Затем отдает горшочек Пуху.

Пух: Thank you, Owl. Good bye!

Сова: It was pleasure.

Пятачок бежит с шариком, спотыкаясь и охая! Падает. Шарик лопнул. Пятачок сидит на земле и держит в руках остатки шарика.

Пятачок: Oh, oh, oh! How terrible! How terrible! I have only one balloon. Oh. But it is still nice. And Eeyore doesn’t like balloons that much.

Бежит дальше. Прибегает к Иа.

Пятачок: Happy birthday, Eeyore!

Иа: Ah? Say it again please!

Пятачок: Happy birthday, Eeyore! It’s a balloon. It was a balloon, big and red. Протягивает ему шарик. Иа в недоумении.

Прибегает Пух с горшочком, протягивает Иа

Пух: Happy birthday. It’s a present for you!

Иа держит горшочек в одной руке, шарик – в другой и не знает, что с ними делать. Приходит Кролик.

Кролик (деловым тоном): Hello, everybody. What are doing here? Is it a special meeting?

Иа (гордо): It’s my birthday today. I’ve got presents!

Кролик придирчиво рассматривает подарки.

Кролик: You can keep this balloon in this pot. Look! I’ll show you. You can put it in and out. In and out.

Кролик демонстрирует, как шарик можно хранить в горшочке.

Иа (счастливый): In and out, in and out. Fantastic!

Кролик уходит.

Вдруг Пух замечает, что у Иа нет хвоста!

Пух: Where is your tail Eeyore?

Иа: Ah? It was always there!

Пух: It is not there now! But don’t worry! I will find it.

Иа: Thank you, Pooh!

Все уходят со сцены. Пух бежит по лесу. Встречает Суслика и Кролика, они ругаются. Кролик потрясает поломанной морковкой перед носом Суслика.

Кролик: My precious harvest! My carrots and cabbages! You are such a fool! Your tunnels ruined my life!

Суслик: Don’t panic. They will grow again. But my new tunnel is fantastic. I will show you if you want…

Кролик: I want my harvest! My carrots!

Суслик: Don’t be so pessimistic!

Пух пытается вставить словечко в перепалку:

Пух: Eeyore has lost his tail! Have you seen it?

Кролик:Why are you asking me? I’m in a deep depression. My life lost its sense! Go to Owl!

Пух бежит к сове. Пробегает мимо домика Кенги. Кенга, Ру и Тигра пьют чай в саду.

Пух: Hello!

Кенга: Good afternoon Pooh! How are you? Have a cup of tea!

Ру: Hi, Pooh! Nice to see you!

Тигра: Oho-ho-ho! Where are you running, Pooh?

Пух: Eeyore has lost his tail! Have you seen it?

Кенга, Ру и Пух: No.

Пух: I have to find it!

Тигра: A real Adventure! How terrible! How dangerous! Fantastic!

Ру: May I go with you, Pooh!

Кенга: No, no. You are too small, honey. We will go together.

Тигр: Let’s go to Owl. She will help!

Идут все вместе. Тигра носится кругами: Oh-ho-ho! A real adventure! Ру порывается убежать.

Кенга: Don’t run away!

Их догоняют Кролик и Суслик, которые продолжают ругаться.

Кролик: My carrots!

Суслик: It’s a modern underground architecture. Deep tunnels! You can discover new territories.

Подходят к дому Совы. Собирается дернуть за шнурок звонка и вдруг понимает, что это хвост Иа.

Пух: Oh! What’s this? It looks like a tail! Eeyore’s tail. Owl! Owl!

Сова выходит из дома.

Сова: Yes?

Кролик: What’s this? (показывает на хвост)

Сова: Can’t you see?

Тигра: It’s a tail?

Сова: A tail?

Суслик: Yes, Eeyore’s tail. Where did you get it?

Сова: Found.

Пух: Eeyore will be happy.

Сова: I’m not!

Все уходят со сцены.

Винни пух и Кристофер Робин усаживаются на холме и смотрят на звезды.

Кристофер Робин: Pooh!

Пух: Yes?

Кристофер Робин: Will you … will you come here when I am … I am

Пух: What, Christopher Robin?

Кристофер Робин: When I grow up and can’t play with you all the time? Will you come?

Пух: Me?

Кристофер Робин: Yes, Pooh, you.

Пух: Yes.

Кристофер Робин: Promise that you will never forget me. Never! Even when I’m 100 and you are 99.

Пух: I promise.

Кристофер Робин пожал лапу Пуху, засмеялся и встал.

Кристофер Робин: Let’s go!

Пух: Where?

Кристофер Робин: Anywhere!

Д3: And off they go. And wherever they go and whatever happens to them on their way – here in this Magic Place on the top of the hill in the Forest a little boy will always, always play with his little bear.

(toys are waking up)

Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood,

Where Christopher Robin plays.

You’ll find the enchanted neighborhood,

of Christopher’s childhood days.

(come out and sing introducing themselves)

A donkey named Eeyore is his friend.

And Kanga and Little Roo.

There’s Rabbit and Piglet.

And there’s Owl.

But most of all Winnie the Pooh! (jumps out in the middle and they all start dancing)

Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh,

A tubby, little cubby all stuffed with fluff.

He’s Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh,

A (willy-nilly), silly old bear.

Scene 2

Winnie and All-All-All

CHRISTOPHER	Winne, what is today’s story about?
WINNIE	Bees!
All-All-All	Bees?
WINNIE	Yes, bees!

Scene 3

Winnie and Bees

WINNIE	One day when I was out walking in the forest, there was a large oak-tree, and, from the top there came a loud buzzing-noise. (pointed with his finger up)
BEES	Buzzzzzz … Buzzzzzz …
WINNIE	( sat down at the foot of the tree, put his head between his paws and began to think) That buzzing-noise means something.
BEES	Buzzzzzz … Buzzzzzz …
WINNIE	If there’s a buzzing-noise, somebody’s making a buzzing-noise, and the only reason for making a buzzing-noise is …because you’re a bee. (Then he thought another long time.) And the only reason for being a bee is … making honey. ( then he got up) And the only reason for making honey is so as I can eat it. (he began to climb the tree, he climbed he sang a little song). Isn’t it funny How a bear likes honey? Buzz! Buzz! Buzz! I wonder why he does?
BEES	Buzzzzzz … Buzzzzzz …
WINNIE	(Crack!) Oh, help! (Bang!) Oh, help! (He fell down, crawled out and began to think again.) Yes! Christopher Robin! (went round to his friend Christopher Robin)

Scene 4 (Winnie and Christopher)

WINNIE	Good morning, Christopher Robin
CHRISTOPHER	Good morning, Winnie-ther-Pooh
WINNIE	I wonder if you’ve got a balloon?
CHRISTOPHER	A balloon?
WINNIE	Yes, a balloon.
CHRISTOPHER	What do you want a balloon for?»
WINNIE	( looked round to see that nobody was listening, put his paw to his mouth, and said in a deep whisper) Honey!
CHRISTOPHER	But you don’t get honey with balloons!
WINNIE	I do.
CHRISTOPHER	(brought the green balloon and the blue one) Which one would you like?
WINNIE	Well… (He put his head between his paws and thought very carefully.) It’s like this, if I have a green balloon, they’ll think I am a part of the tree, and if I have a blue balloon, they ‘ll think I am a part of the sky.
CHRISTOPHER	Then you’d better have the blue balloon.
WINNIE	Come on1 Take you gun with you!
CHRISTOPHER	Why?
WINNIE	Just in case.
CHRISTOPHER	Yes, just in case! (they both went to the oak tree)

Scene 5 (Winnie and Christopher and Bees)

(Winnie floated gracefully up into the sky, holding on the balloon with his two paws)

CHRISTOPHER	Hooray! (shouted)
WINNIE	What do I look like?
CHRISTOPHER	You look like a Bear holding on to a balloon.
WINNIE	Not like a small black cloud?
CHRISTOPHER	Not very much.
BEES	Buzzzzzz … Buzzzzzz …
WINNIE	Christopher Robin! (he said in a loud whisper.)
CHRISTOPHER	Yes?
WINNIE	I think the bees suspect something!
CHRISTOPHER	Perhaps they think that you’re after their honey?
BEES	Buzzzzzz … Buzzzzzz …
WINNIE	Christopher Robin!
CHRISTOPHER	Yes?
WINNIE	Have you got an umbrella in your house?
CHRISTOPHER	I think so.
WINNIE	Bring it!
BEES	Buzzzzzz … Buzzzzzz …
CHRISTOPHER	(went home for your umbrella) Shall I put my umbrella up?
WINNIE	Yes. Walk up and down with your umbrella, saying, ‘Tut-tut, it looks like rain.’ Go!
CHRISTOPHER	Tut-tut, it looks like rain.
BEES	Buzzzzzz … Buzzzzzz …
WINNIE	I shall sing a little Cloud Song.
BEES	Buzzzzzz … Buzzzzzz …
CHRISTOPHER	Tut-tut, it looks like rain.
BEES	Buzzzzzz … Buzzzzzz …
WINNIE	How sweet to be a Cloud Floating in the Blue! Every little cloud Always sings aloud. «How sweet to be a Cloud Floating in the Blue!» It makes him very proud To be a little cloud.
BEES	Buzzzzzz … Buzzzzzz …
WINNIE	Christopher Robin!
CHRISTOPHER	Yes?
WINNIE	These are the wrong bees.
CHRISTOPHER	Are they?
WINNIE	They make the wrong sort of honey.
CHRISTOPHER	Really?
WINNIE	Yes. I shall come down.
CHRISTOPHER	How?
WINNIE	Christopher Robin, you must shoot the balloon with your gun.
CHRISTOPHER	But if I do that, it will spoil the balloon.
WINNIE	But if you don’t, that would spoil me.
CHRISTOPHER	(aimed very carefully at the balloon, and fired) Puff!
WINNIE	Ow!
CHRISTOPHER	Did I miss?
WINNIE	You didn’t exactly miss, (touched his back) but you missed the balloon.
CHRISTOPHER	I’m so sorry. (fired again) Puff!
WINNIE	(floated down to the ground with his arms up) Pooh.

CHRISTOPHER	Is that the end of the story?
WINNIE	That’s the end of that one. There are others.
CHRISTOPHER	About you and Me?
WINNIE	And Piglet and Rabbit and all of us.

Christopher Robin gave a deep sigh, picked his Bear up by the leg, and walked off to the door, trailing Pooh behind him. (Theme song.)

Scene 6

Winnie and Rabbit and CHRISTOPHER and ALL

Winnie-the-Pooh was walking through the forest one day, humming proudly to himself.

WINNIE	Tra– la-la, tra-la-la, Tra– la-la, tra-la-la, Rum– tum-tiddle-um-tum. Tiddle– iddle, tiddle-iddle, Tiddle– iddle, tiddle-iddle, Rum– tum-tum-tiddle-um. (saw a large hole) Aha! (Rum-tum-tiddle-um-tum.) That hole means Rabbit, and Rabbit means Company, and Company means Food and Listening-to-Me-Humming. (he bent down, put his head into the hole, and called out) Is anybody at home?
RABBIT	No! You needn’t shout so loud. I heard you quite well.
WINNIE	Isn’t there anybody here at all?
RABBIT	Nobody.
WINNIE	(took his head out of the hole, and thought for a little) There must be somebody there, because somebody must have said ‘Nobody.’ (put his head back in the hole) Hallo, Rabbit, isn’t that you?
RABBIT	No.
WINNIE	But isn’t that Rabbit’s voice?
RABBIT	I don’t think so.
WINNIE	Oh! (He took his head out of the hole, and had another think, and then he put it back.) Well, could you very kindly tell me where Rabbit is?
RABBIT	He has gone to see his friend Pooh Bear, who is a great friend of his.
WINNIE	But this is Me!
RABBIT	What sort of Me?
WINNIE	Pooh Bear.
RABBIT	Are you sure?
WINNIE	Quite, quite sure.
RABBIT	Oh, well, then, come in.
WINNIE	(he pushed his way through the hole, and at last he got in.) Glad to see you.
RABBIT	Yes. It is you. Glad to see you. What about a mouthful of something? Honey or condensed milk with your bread?
WINNIE	Both. Don’t bother about the bread, please.
RABBIT	Help yourself.
WINNIE	Thank you. (ate everything with his paw, humming loudly) Thank you. I must go.
RABBIT	Must you? (politely)
WINNIE	Well, I could stay a little longer if it … if you …
RABBIT	As a matter of fact, I was going out myself.
WINNIE	Oh well, good-bye. I must be going on.
RABBIT	Well, good-bye, if you’re sure you won’t have any more.
WINNIE	Is there any more?
RABBIT	(Rabbit took the covers off the dishes.) No, there isn’t.
WINNIE	Well, good-bye. I must be going on. (He started to climb out of the hole. He pulled with his front paws, and pushed with his back paws, and in a little while his nose was out in the open again… and then his ears… and then his front paws… and then his shoulders..) Oh, help! …I’d better go back. …Oh, bother! I’d better go on. …Oh, help!
RABBIT	(he went round to Pooh, and looked at him.) Are you stuck?
WINNIE	N– no, … just resting.
RABBIT	Here, give me a paw. (Rabbit pulled and pulled and pulled…)
WINNIE	Ow!
RABBIT	The fact is you’re stuck.
WINNIE	It all comes of not having front doors big enough.
RABBIT	It all comes of eating too much. …Well, I shall go and fetch Christopher Robin.
WINNIE	Pooh!
CHRISTOPHER	(came with Rabbit) Silly old Bear… If we can’t pull you out, Pooh, we might push you back.
CHR/RABBIT	(pushed the bear back) Oh! No!
WINNIE	You mean I’d never get out?
RABBIT	I mean.
CHRISTOPHER	(nodded.) We shall have to wait for you to get thin again.
WINNIE	How long?
CHRISTOPHER	About a week, I think.
WINNIE	But I can’t stay here for a week!
RABBIT	We’ll read to you.
WINNIE	A week? …What about meals?
CHR/RABBIT	No meals!
WINNIE	Ow!
CHR/RABBIT	(sat and read the book in turns) (SUNDAY –passes, Monday- … WEEEK- passes)
CHRISTOPHER RABBIT ALL	Now! (Christopher took hold of Pooh’s front paws and Rabbit took hold of Christopher Robin, and all Rabbit’s friends and relations took hold of Rabbit, and they all pulled together…) One, two, three… (fell down)
WINNIE	(free) Ow!
ALL	(Winnie sat on the ground, they all around him singing) Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh, A tubby, little cubby all stuffed with fluff. He’s Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh, A (willy-nilly), silly old bear.

CHRISTOPHER	Is that the end of the story?
WINNIE	That’s the end of that one. There are others.
CHRISTOPHER	About you and Me?
WINNIE	And Piglet and Rabbit and all of us.

Scene 7

EEYORE and Winnie

THE Old Grey Donkey, Eeyore, stood by himself, sad.

EEYORE	How do you do? (in a gloomy manner to him)
WINNIE	And how are you?
EEYORE	(shook his head from side to side) Not very how.
WINNIE	Dear, dear… I’m sorry about that. Let’s have a look at you. ( walked all round him) Why, what’s happened to your tail?
EEYORE	What has happened to it?
WINNIE	It isn’t there!
EEYORE	Are you sure?
WINNIE	Well, either a tail is there or it isn’t there. And yours isn’t there!
EEYORE	Then what is?
WINNIE	Nothing.
EEYORE	Let’s have a look. (he turned slowly round to the place where his tail had been a little while ago, and then, finding that he couldn’t catch it up, he turned round the other way.) You’re right.
WINNIE	You must have left it somewhere.
EEYORE	Somebody must have taken it.
WINNIE	Eeyore, I will find your tail for you.
EEYORE	Thank you, Pooh. You’re a real friend. Not like Some.

Pooh went off to find Eeyore’s tail. Eeyore went sadly off the stage.

Scene 8

Owl and Winnie

In front of the Owl’s door. PLES RING IF AN RNSER IS REQIRD.

WINNIE	(read the notice) If anyone knows anything about anything, It’s Owl who knows something about something. (he pulled and knocked the bell-rope) Owl! I require an answer! It’s Bear speaking.
OWL	(the door opened, and Owl looked out) Hallo, Pooh. How’s things?
WINNIE	Terrible and Sad, because Eeyore has lost his tail.
OWL	Well, the customary procedure in such cases is as follows…
WINNIE	Pardon? I am a Bear of Very Little Brain, and long words bother me.
OWL	The thing to do is as follows. First, Issue a Reward. Then …
WINNIE	(holding up his paw) Just a moment, You sneezed .
OWL	I didn’t sneeze.
WINNIE	Yes, you did, Owl.
OWL	Excuse me, Pooh, I didn’t. What I said was, ‘First Issue a Reward’
WINNIE	You’re sneezing again.
OWL	A Reward! (very loudly) We’ll write a notice to say that we will give a large something to anybody who finds Eeyore’s tail.
WINNIE	Yes. (They both went out, he looked at the bell-rope)
OWL	Handsome bell-rope, isn’t it?
WINNIE	(nodded) Where did you get it?
OWL	I just came across it in the Forest. It was hanging over a bush, and I thought at first somebody lived there, so I rang it, and nothing happened, and then I rang it again very loudly, and it came off in my hand, and as nobody seemed to want it, I took it home, and …
WINNIE	Owl. Somebody did want it.
OWL	Who?
WINNIE	Eeyore… My dear friend Eeyore… He was fond of it.
OWL	Fond of it?
WINNIE	Attached to it.( took the rope and went away)
OWL	(in surprise) Really?
WINNIE	(walking and singing) Who found the Tail?- I.

Scene 9

EEYORE and Winnie

EEYORE, the old grey Donkey, stood by the side of the stream, and looked at himself in the water.

EEYORE	Pathetic. (He turned and walked slowly down the stream for twenty yards, then he looked at himself in the water again) As I thought. No better from this side. But nobody minds. Nobody cares. Pathetic.
WINNIE	Good morning, Eeyore.
EEYORE	Good morning, Pooh Bear. ( gloomily) If it is a good morning. Which I doubt.
WINNIE	Why, what’s the matter?
EEYORE	Nothing, Pooh Bear, nothing.
WINNIE	You seem so sad, Eeyore.
EEYORE	Sad? Why should I be sad? It’s my birthday. The happiest day of the year.
WINNIE	Your birthday?
EEYORE	Of course it is. Can’t you see? Look at all the presents I have had. Look at the birthday cake. Candles and pink sugar.
WINNIE	(looked – first to the right and then to the left) Presents? Birthday cake? Where?
EEYORE	Can’t you see them?
WINNIE	No.
EEYORE	Neither can I. Joke. Ha ha!
WINNIE	(scratched his head) But is it really your birthday?
EEYORE	It is.
WINNIE	Oh! Many happy returns of the day, Eeyore.
EEYORE	And many happy returns to you, Pooh Bear.
WINNIE	But it isn’t my birthday.
EEYORE	No, it’s mine. But … No presents…and no cake… and no candles…
WINNIE	Stay there! (he turned and hurried back home as quick as he could)
EEYORE	(off stage)

Scene 10

Piglet and Winnie

Near Pooh’s door. Piglet, jumping up and down trying to reach the knocker.

WINNIE	Hallo, Piglet.
PIGLET	Hallo, Pooh.
WINNIE	What are you trying to do?
PIGLET	I was trying to reach the knocker.
WINNIE	Let me do it for you. (he reached up and knocked at the door.)
PIGLET	But Pooh, it’s your own house!
WINNIE	Oh! So it is. Well, let’s go in. (He went to the cupboard , took a small jar of honey) I’m going to give this to Eeyore, as a present, because it’s his birthday today. Eeyore is in a Very Sad Condition. What are you going to give him?
PIGLET	Couldn’t I give it too? From both of us?
WINNIE	No. That’s not a good idea.
PIGLET	I’ll give him a balloon! I’ll go and get it now, shall I?
WINNIE	That, Piglet, is a very good idea! It is just what Eeyore wants to cheer him up.

PIGLET trotted and in the other direction went Pooh, with his jar of honey.

Scene 11 (Winnie and Owl )

WINNIE	Now, Pooh, time for a little something. Dear, dear. (put his paw into the jug and he began to eat.) Where was I going? Ah, yes, Eeyore. Bother! What shall I do? It’s empty! … Well … it’s a very nice pot, even if there’s no honey in it. (went inside to call on Owl) Good morning, Owl.
OWL	Good morning, Pooh.
WINNIE	Today’s Eeyore’s birthday! What are you giving him, Owl?
OWL	What are you giving him, Pooh?
WINNIE	I’m giving him a Useful Pot to Keep Things In, and I wanted to ask you…
OWL	Is this it? (took the pot)
WINNIE	Yes, and I wanted to ask you…
OWL	Somebody kept honey in it.
WINNIE	You can keep anything in it. And I wanted to ask you to write ‘A Happy Birthday’ on it. Because my spelling is Wobbly.
OWL	It’s a nice pot. Couldn’t I give it too? From both of us?
WINNIE	No. That’s not a good idea.
OWL	(Owl licked the end of his pencil then started to write) HIPY PAPY BTHUTHDTH THUTHDA BTHUTHDY. A Very Happy Birthday with love from Pooh.
WINNIE	Oh, I see. Eeyore will like it. Thank you, Owl. Buy.
OWL	Buy, Pooh.

Scene 12 Piglet and Eeyore

Piglet runs with a balloon, falls. Bang!

PIGLET	(lay on the ground) I wonder what that bang was… And where’s my balloon?.. And what’s that small piece of damp rag doing? …Oh, dear, oh, dearie, dearie, dear! I haven’t another balloon! … Perhaps Eeyore doesn’t like balloons so very much. (he trotted on, rather sadly) (shouted) Good morning, Eeyore!
EEYORE	Good morning, Little Piglet. ( gloomily) If it is a good morning. Which I doubt.
PIGLET	Many happy returns of the day!
EEYORE	(turned to stare at Piglet) Just say that again.
PIGLET	Many hap…
EEYORE	Wait a moment… (put the ear up with his hand) Now then, what were you saying?
PIGLET	Many happy returns of the day!
EEYORE	Meaning me?
PIGLET	Of course, Eeyore.
EEYORE	My birthday?
PIGLET	Yes, Eeyore, and I’ve brought you a present.
EEYORE	(turned with another year) Now then.
PIGLET	A present. (loudly)
EEYORE	Meaning me?
PIGLET	Of course, Eeyore. I brought you a balloon.
EEYORE	Balloon? One of those big coloured things you blow up?
PIGLET	Yes, but I’m afraid…I’m very sorry… I was running … I fell down…
EEYORE	You didn’t hurt yourself, Little Piglet?
PIGLET	No… but I … I ….oh, Eeyore, I burst the balloon!
EEYORE	(a very long silence) My balloon?
PIGLET	(nodded)
EEYORE	My birthday balloon?
PIGLET	(nodded) Yes, Eeyore. ..Here it is. With … with many happy returns of the day.
EEYORE	My present?
PIGLET	(nodded)
EEYORE	Thank you, Piglet. But what colour was this balloon when it was a balloon?
PIGLET	Red.
EEYORE	Red …My favourite colour… How big was it?
PIGLET	About as big as me.
EEYORE	About as big as Piglet… My favourite size…

Scene 13

Piglet and Eeyore and Pooh

Pooh came.

WINNIE	Many happy returns of the day, Eeyore!
EEYORE	Thank you, Pooh, I’m having them (gloomy)
WINNIE	I’ve brought you a little present! (excitedly)
EEYORE	I’ve had it.
WINNIE	It’s a Useful Pot. Here it is. And it’s got ‘A Very Happy Birthday with love from Pooh’ on it. And it’s for putting things in.
EEYORE	(became quite excited) Why! My Balloon will just go into that Pot!
WINNIE	Oh, no, Eeyore. Balloons are too big to go into Pots.
EEYORE	Not mine! Look! (placed it in the pot; picked it out)
WINNIE	It goes in!
PIGLET	And it comes out!
EEYORE	It goes in and out!
WINNIE	I’m very glad of giving you a Useful Pot to put things in.
PIGLET	I’m very glad of giving you something to put in a Useful Pot.
EEYORE	It goes in and out!
OWL	Hello, Pooh! Many happy returns of the day! I’ve brought you a little present!
EEYORE	My tail?!
WINNIE	Oh!
EEYORE	I’m having … a real birthday! (goes off)
ALL	… a real birthday!

EEYORE, OWL and Piglet go off the stage.

Christopher Robin comes.

CHRISTOPHER	And did I give him anything?
WINNIE	Of course you did! You gave him …don’t you remember ?.. a little …a little…
CHRISTOPHER	…a box of paints!

CHRISTOPHER	Is that the end of the story?
WINNIE	That’s the end of that one. There are others.
CHRISTOPHER	About you and Me?
WINNIE	And Piglet and Rabbit and all of us.

CHRISTOPHER	Winne, what is the next story about?
WINNIE	Kanga and Little Roo.
CHRISTOPHER	How did they come here?
WINNIE	In the Usual Way.

Scene 14

Piglet, Owl and Eeyore and Rabbit came.

RABBIT	(very slowly) Here – we – are. I found a Strange Animal among us… An animal who carries her family in her pocket! Suppose I carried my family in my pocket, how many pockets should I want?
PIGLET	Sixteen!
RABBIT	Seventeen. And one more for a handkerchief. Eighteen pockets in one suit!
WINNIE	Aha..
ALL	Aha..
OWL	Let’s see Kanga…
EEYORE	Let’s see.

Roo is jumping and Kanga are next to him.

ROO	(jumping long) I’m jumping!
KANGA	Oh, dear, just one more jump and then we must go home.
WINNIE	Good afternoon, Kanga.
KANGA	Good afternoon, Pooh.
ROO	Look at me jumping!
WINNIE	Ah… Hallo, Little Roo!
PIGLET, OWL, EEYORE	Hallo, Kanga.
RABBIT	Good afternoon.
KANGA	Good afternoon. We were just going home. Roo, dear, just one more jump and then we must go home.
ROO	Look at me jumping!
PIGLET, OWL, EEYORE	Hallo, Little Roo!
RABBIT	Hallo, Little Roo!
WINNIE	…I wish I could jump like this.

Scene 15

CHRISTOPHER (comes with a rucksack)

CHRISTOPHER	Hallo, everybody!
ALL	Hallo, CHRISTOPHER!
WINNIE	What are you going to do?
CHRISTOPHER	We are all going on an Expedition!
WINNIE	Expotition?
CHRISTOPHER	Expedition, silly Bear. We’re going to discover the North Pole.
WINNIE	Are bears any good at discovering it?
CHRISTOPHER	Of course they are! And Rabbit and Kanga and all of you.
RABBIT	We are, are we?
CHRISTOPHER	A long line of everybody.
ALL	(all in a line: First comes Christopher Robin? then Rabbit, Piglet and Pooh; Kanga with Roo, Owl and then Eeyore)
CHRISTOPHER	That‘s an Expedition! Come on!
OWL	(to Eeyore) Come on!
EEYORE	All right. I’m going.
WINNIE	(singing loudly) We all went off to discover the Pole, Owl and Piglet and Rabbit and all;
CHRISTOPHER	Hush!
ALL	(everybody turning back) Hush!
EEYORE	Hush! (to nobody)
CHRISTOPHER	Hush! We’re just coming to a Dangerous Place. It’s the North Pole.
EEYORE	(looking round at them in his melancholy way.)
RABBIT	What does the North Pole look like?
CHRISTOPHER	I did know once… only …I’ve forgotten.
EEYORE	Is it a pole stuck in the ground?
OWL	Sure to be a pole, because it’s a Pole!
KANGA	The only thing is where is it sticking? (all are looking around)
PIGLET	Roo’s fallen in! HELP!!!
ROO	Look at me swimming!
KANGA	Are you all right, Roo, dear?
ROO	Yes! Look at me swimming!
KANGA	Are you sure you’re all right, Roo, dear?
ROO	Look at me sw… sw… sw…
EEYORE	(turns round and hungs his tail) Catch on to my tail, little Roo!
CHRISTOPHER	All right, Roo, I’m coming! (sees Pooh with a pole in his hands? takes it , Kanga helps him and they put it in the stream) Catch it!
CHRISTOPHER KANGA	Catch it! (Kanga pulls him)
ROO	Did you see me swimming?
KANGA	Oh, dear!
ROO	Pooh, did you see me swimming? That’s called swimming. Rabbit, did you see me swimming?
CHRISTOPHER	(looking at the pole and then at Pooh) Pooh, where did you find that pole?
WINNIE	I just picked it up.
CHRISTOPHER	The Expedition is over. Pooh has found the North Pole!
WINNIE	Oh!
RABBIT	Is that it?
CHRISTOPHER	Yes!
EEYORE	Is that what we were looking for?
CHRISTOPHER	Yes!

ROO	Is that the end of the story?
WINNIE	That’s the end of that one. There are others.
CHRISTOPHER	About you and Me?
WINNIE	And Piglet and Rabbit and all of us.

Eeyore: “Sad? Why should I be sad? I’m not sad. It’s my birthday. The happiest
day of the year.”

Pooh: “Your birthday?”

Eeyore: “Of course it is. Can’t you see? Look at all the presents I have had. Look
at the birthday cake and the candles.”

Pooh: “Presents? Birthday cake? Where?”

Eeyore: “Can’t you see them?”

Pooh: “No.”

Eeyore: “Neither can I. Joke. Ha,ha,ha!”

Pooh: “But is it really your birthday?”

Eeyore: “It is.”

Pooh: “Oh, I see. Many happy returns of the day. Stay there!” Винни-Пух
убегает.

Вылетают пчелы и исполняют танец под музыку
“Полет шмеля” (Приложение). Поют
Ослику Иа песню “Happy Birthday to You” специально
заменяя межзубный звук в слове birthday на z:birzzzzday

“Happy birzzzzday to you.”

Bee: “Isn’t it funny
How a bear likes honey?
Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

Улетают пчелы и уводят с собой ослика.

2 сцена: “Винни-Пух и Пятачок”

Pooh: “Tra-la-la, tra-la-la,
Rum-tum-tiddle-um-tum,
Tiddle- iddle, tiddle-iddle,
Tiddle- iddle, tiddle-iddle,
Rum-tum-tum, tiddle- um.”

Piglet: “Hallo, Pooh!”

Pooh: “Hallo, Piglet! I have just seen Eeyore and poor Eeyore is in a very sad
condition, because it’s his birthday and nobody knows it, and he is very gloomy.”

(Начинает копаться в большой сумке, доставая
предметы, которые могут быть подарком Ослику)

Piglet: “What are you doing, Pooh?”

Pooh: “I’m giving this to Eeyore (достает горшочек) as a present.
What are you going to give?”

Piglet: “Can’t I give it too? From both of us.”

Pooh: “No, that will not be a good plan.”

Piglet: “All right, then, I’ll give him a balloon. I’ve got one left from my
party.”

Pooh: “That, Piglet, is a very good idea.”

Piglet: “Idea! Oh, I’ve got a good idea!”

Pooh: “What idea?”

Piglet: “We need a party.”

Pooh: “A party?”

Piglet: “A party for everybody.”

Все участники выходят на сцену и исполняют
песню Бурановских бабушек “Party for everybody”. (Приложение)

Winnie-the-Pooh in the Rabbit`s house

Автор: Winnie-the-Pooh, or Pooh for short, was walking through the forest one day,humming proudly to himself. He had made up a little hum that very morning, as he was doing his Stoutness Exercises in front of the glass:

Пух:Rabbit? I like rabbit, because he uses short, easy words, like «How about lunch?» and «help yourself, Pooh»

Кролик:Pooh? Lunch? Oh no..not again. Oh my, oh my goodness gracious!

Пух:Is anybody at home?….. What I said was, ‘Is anybody at home?’

Кролик:No! ….

Пух:Bother! Isn’t there anybody here at all?

Кролик:Nobody

Пух:There must be somebody there, because somebody must have said «Nobody». Hello,

Rabbit, isn’t that you?

Кролик:No

Пух:But isn’t that Rabbit’s voice?

Кролик:I don’t think so

Пух (залез):Hello, Rabbit!

Кролик:Oh, hello Pooh bear. Pooh bear? Uh..uh…what a pleasant surprise. Uh… How about lunch?

Пух:Oh, thank you. Rabbit..

Кролик:..and help yourself, Pooh

Кролик:Would you like honey or condensed milk with your bread?

Пух:Both, but don’t bother about the bread, please. Just a small helping, if you please

Кролик:There you are…Is something wrong?

Пух:Well..I did mean a little large small helping

Кролик:Perhaps, it would save time if you took the whole jar?

Пух:Thank you, Rabbit

Автор:So Pooh ate, and ate, and ate, and ate, and ate, and ate…! Until at last he said to Rabbit

Пух:I must be going now. Goodbye, Rabbit

Кролик:Well..goodbye, if you are sure you want have any more?

Сова:Well, if it isn`t Pooh bear

Пух:Oh, hello Owl

Сова:Splendid day to be up and…Oh..I say.. Are you stuck?

Пух:No, no…just resting and thinking and humming to myself

Сова:You, sir, are stuck! Now, obviously this situation calls for an expert!

Крот:Somebody call for an expert? I`m not in the book, but I am in your service. Here`s my card. What`s the problem?

Сова: Yes, yes, yes.. It seems the entrance to Rabbit`s house is impassable..

Крот:And you want me to dig it out?

Сова:Precisely!

Крот:First thing to be done is get rid of that bear. He`s gumming up the whole project

Сова: Dash-it-all. He is a project!

Крот:Big job..Take two or three days

Пух:Three days?! What about lunches?

Крот:No problem..I always go home for lunch. Oh, it will run into money!

Сова:Oh..Is ay..how much?

Крот:Do the job for hourly rate, plus cover materials, plus overtime, plus 10 percent

Сова: And your estimate?

Крот:Nope, can`t give an estimate. Too risky!

Сова:Blast-it-all

Крот:Good idea! We`ll dynamite, save time!

Сова:What`s the charge?

Крот:Nope, no charge account. I work strictly cash

Сова:Obviously, but I should think..

Крот:I got a tight schedule! If you think it over. Let me know.

Сова:Dash-it-all. He`s gone.

Пух:After all, he`s not in the book, you know

Кролик:Here we come..don`t worry

Кристофер:Cheer up, Pooh bear. We`re coming. We`ll get you out

Ослик:Well, maybe

Кристофер:Silly old bear..Give me your paw (тянет)

Пух:Oh, it`s no use. I`m stuck

Кристофер:Well, if we can`t pull you out, perhaps we can push you back

Кролик:Oh no, no that

Кристофер:Pooh bear, there`s only one thing we can do. Wait for you get thin again

Пух:Oh, bother. How long will that take?

Ослик:Days, weeks, months. Who knows?

Кролик:Oh, dear. If I have to face that thing for months, I might as well make the best of it. Hmm…yes, a frame. And a splash of colour…hunting…OK

Кенга:Pooh? Roo has a little surprise for you

РУ:Flowers!

Пух:Honeysuckle!

Кенга:No, Pooh, you don`t eat them. You smell them!

Пух:Oh… (вдыхает)

Кролик:that`s not bad! (пух собирается чихнуть)Ohno!Help! Why did I ever invite this bear to lunch? Why..why..why…

Пух:I wonder what`s for breakfast…храп..злойкролик…lunch…

Выходит крот с lunchbox, злой кролик выбегает и ставит табличку «Don`tfeedthebear»

Автор: …and then, one morning, when Rabbit was beginning to think that he might never be able to use his front door again. It happened!

Кролик:He budget! Hooray! Christopher Robin! Today is that day!

Все:Hooray for you

Пух:Hooray for me

Все:(song)Hooray, hooray, the Pooh will soon be free! Dum de dum de dum de dum. Now the time has come for proving. What the diet did for Pooh. And since we pledged he`d be unwedged. That`s what we`re going to do. He`ll be pulled and he`ll be tagget and eventually unplugged. We`ll have a tug-of-war to open Rabbit`s door. Think heave-age, think ho-age. And out the Pooh will go-age. And out the Pooh will go-age. For mind over matter. Has made the Pooh un-fatter

Heave, ho

Heave, heave, heave, heave, heave…..

Цели:

— развивать и поддерживать интерес к изучению английского языка;

Author. (Звучит спокойная мелодия.) It’s the story about a nice and funny bear — Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends. Oh, listen! Somebody’s coming. Yes, it’s Winnie.

Winnie-the-Pooh. ( Идет, не спеша, и поёт.) I’m Winnie Pooh, I’m Winnie Pooh a funny, brown bear. I can climb and I can dance and I can sing. (Останавливается.) I’m hungry. Oh, honey. (Заметил горшочек с мёдом, подходит к нему.) I like honey. (Садится на пенёк и пробует мёд.)

Author. (Опять звучит музыка.) And who’s this? Yes, it’s Winnie’s friend Piglet.

Piglet. ( Движется подскоками и поёт, в руках держит шар.) I’m a pig, I’m a pig. I’m a little, pink pig. I can sing and I can run and I’ve got a friend. (Останавливается, замечает медвежонка.) Hello, Winnie!

Winnie-the-Pooh. Hi, Piglet. How are you?

Piglet. I’m tip-top. Thank you, and you?

Winnie-the-Pooh. I’m O’K.

Piglet. What’s this? (Указывает на горшочек с мёдом.)

Winnie-the-Pooh. It’s honey. It’s a present for donkey Eeyore.

Piglet. Yes, it’s his birthday. And I’ve got a red balloon. ( Показывает воздушный шар.) Let’s go to him!

Winnie-the-Pooh. Yes, let’s. (Под музыку друзья уходят за деревья.)

Author. ( Звучит музыка.)And friends go to Eeyore. Suddenly, they meet Tiger.

Tiger. ( Под энергичную музыку появляется Тигр с мячом, поёт.) I’m big, big Tiger and I’m very strong. I can jump and climb and I say hello. (Появляются Винни и Пятачок.) Oh, hello friends.

Piglet. Hi, Tiger. We go to Eeyore’s birthday. Let’s go with us.

Tiger. Ok. And I’ve got a ball. (Протягивает мяч.) It’s for Eeyore.

Author. And friends go further and meet an owl.

Owl. ( Сова «вылетает» и поёт.) I’m an owl, I’m an owl. I can fly and I can cook. I like cakes. (Встречается с друзьями и говорит.) Oh, hello dear! Where are you?

All together. Hello, owl!

Tiger. We go to Eeyore. Let’s go with us.

Owl. Yes and this cake is for Eeyore.

Author. And the friends go further and meet Rabbit.

Rabbit. ( Выходит, маршируя, под энергичную музыку и поёт.) I’m a rabbit, I’m a rabbit. I can count and I can read. I’m a rabbit, I’m a rabbit. I’m a clever rabbit, bit. (Встречает друзей.) Hello, dear friends. I’m glad to see you!

All together. Hi, Rabbit.

Owl. We are glad to see you too. Let’s go with us to Eeyore.

Rabbit. O’K. And I have got a candle. Let’s go.

Author. At this time near the lake… Donkey Eeyore is sad. No, friends. No presents.

Eeyore. ( Выходит из домика, прогуливается возле пруда и поёт жалобную песню.) I’m poor donkey Eeyore. (2 раза) I can’t dance and I can’t smile. I’m poor donkey Eeyore. (2 раза) ( Берётся руками за голову.) Oh, poor (4 раза) me. (Прислушивается.) And who’s there?

All together. ( Неожиданно появляются друзья и хором громко произносят.) Happy Birthday Eeyore.

Eeyore. Oh, thank you dear friends. I’m very glad to see you!

Rabbit. How old are you?

Eeyore. I’m 3.

All together. It’s for you. (Протягивают подарки.)

Eeyore. (Удивлённо.) For me? A red balloon, honey, a ball and a cake. Fantastic! Thank you very much!

Друзья встают в круг и поют песню для ослика.

WINNE THE POOH

SPRING

NARRATOR: Winnie the Pooh and Tigger and Roo go bouncing through a rather bothersome place.

NARRATOR: Pooh and his friends were sitting in his thoughtful spot at the edge of Rabbit’s garden thinking about how lovely the very beginning of Spring was.

WINNIE THE POOH: but Narrator, this can’t be the beginning if it is chapter two.

NARRATOR: Yes Pooh, so it is. He was thinking how lovely the beginning of spring was even though it was not the beginning of our story. Rabbit was busy at work.

RABBIT: These carrots won’t plant themselves you know! There’s always so much to do in a garden in spring! It’s going to be a delicious garden.

NARRATOR: When all of the sudden who came bouncing by but Tigger and Roo.

ROO: Tigger you bounced so high! I feel so small next to you!

TIGGER: That’s right buddy, I bounce the best, because bouncing is what Tiggers do best.

ROO: Would you teach me how to bounce like you, Tigger?

TIGGER: Teaching is what Tiggers do best! Watch, and listen little guy.

OWL: Watch out you two. I can see up here from the height of my house that you’re about to bounce into Rabbit’s Garden.

NARRATOR: Tigger and Roo’s afternoon bounce carried them all across the hundred acre woods and straight through the middle of Rabbit’s freshly planted garden.

RABBIT: Oh Tigger, oh Roo, look what you’ve done, my garden, my beautiful garden is ruined because of your bouncing. What am I going to do?

KANGA: What is all the noise? Oh dear, dear, dear Roo! You’re covered in mud and leaves and dust! Here, let me wipe your face.

ROO: Mama…

CHRISTOPHERROBIN: Rabbit what happened to your garden? I thought you were planting your seeds today?

OWL: He was, but from my observations and calculations, Roo and Tigger trounced through Rabbit’s fence and through his garden while they were bouncing and trouncing along.

PIGLET: Oh dear, dear, dear, all of your wonderful vegetables are everywhere. Your scarecrow is broken, and your fence needs mending.

EEYORE: I guess we all got caught up in bouncing too, I left hoofprints all over. I’m sorry Rabbit.

ALL: We’re sorry.

RABBIT: What am I going to do?

TIGGER: We can fix it, fixing is what Tiggers do best!

GOPHER: We could always dig more and help you plant. That’s it, I’ll just draw up some plans, that’s three rows of carrots by two tunnels, yes sir we will be done in no time. No time to lollygag, there’s a garden to dig.

KANGA: Now Gopher, perhaps we should let rabbit tell us how we can help best. Oh dear, Roo you have mud all over your tail, now come over here and let me clean you up.

ROO: Mama…

OWL: Rabbit, perhaps we can help you fix your garden as it seems to be quite ruined after our great adventure bouncing by and through it.

WINNIE THE POOH: This is just the right time of day for fixing. Rabbit, may we help you fix your garden?

RABBIT: That would be wonderful

WINNIE THE POOH: And we can make sure that we are done in time.

ALL: In time for what?

WINNIE THE POOH: In time for some honey.

CHRISTOPHERROBIN: Well Rabbit, first let’s get some seeds so we can plant more vegetables.

KANGA: Rabbit, I’ve been saving some pumpkin seeds at home, I’ll just step by and bring them over!

PIGLET: I’ve got plenty of thistle and lettuce seeds, I have them at home, I’ll be right back!

CHRISTOPHERROBIN: Now we have to get the soil ready to plant.

GOPHER: Digging is my middle name! Show me where to dig and I’ll have everything done in a jiffy!

EEYORE. Rabbit, I can plow the field for you, just tie your rake to my back and I’ll go as fast as I can, though I go quite slow.

PIGLET: I’m back with the seeds

KANGA: Me too!

GOPHER: And just in time. I just finished digging fresh holes!

ROO: I can bounce down each row of holes Gopher dug and plant them for you Rabbit!

TIGGER: I’ll bounce behind you with a watering can little buddy, and make sure those seeds get a good drink. I don’t want any thirsty seeds.

EEYORE: The garden looks quite lovely to me, if I do say so myself. As lovely as dirt can be.

CHRISTOPHERROBIN: There now everyone, see how quickly a garden can grow?

EEYORE: I don’t mean to bother your celebration, but all I see is dirt.

PIGLET: Oh dear, dear, dear, did we do something wrong?

KANGA: We put so much love into the garden, why aren’t there any vegetables yet?

GOPHER: I spend a lot of time underground, and let me tell you plants need time to grow. We need to wait.

OWL: According to my calculations within two weeks, we should have a beautiful garden of all sorts of delightful vegetables.

ROO: But two weeks from now will never come.

KANGA: Roo, all we have to do is be patient and wait.

TIGGER: Waiting is what Tigger’s do best!

ROO: And Roo’s too!

NARRATOR: And so all of Rabbit’s friends waited, and watched, and watched, and waited. Until two weeks passed and the tiny green tips of plants began to grow and grow and grow into vegetables.

RABBIT: My garden, look at my beautiful garden. Friends, thank you for all of your hard work. We should have a celebration, vegetables for everyone!

NARRATOR: And so Rabbit and all of his friends had a delicious vegetable feast.

WINNIE THE POOH: Don’t forget about the honey.

NARRATOR: Rabbit and his friends waited so long for the garden to grow, that they waited all though chapter two and right into the start of summer, and Chapter three.

SUMMER

NARRATOR: in which the friends gets caught in a thunderstorm and Winnie the Pooh meets some rather angry bees. Christopher Robin was having a summertime picnic for his friends, and as everyone began to munch on delicious snacks…

RABBIT: Crunch!

ROO: Slurp!

NARRATOR: Christopher Robin felt the tiniest drop of rain on the very edge of his nose.

CHRISTOPHERROBIN: Friends, I think I felt the tiniest raindrop on my nose. Did anyone else feel something?

EEYORE: Christopher Robin, I think I feel some rain drops on my nose. I’m sure we all do. KANGA: Oh dear, Roo, it’s starting to rain, quickly run under the big oak tree!

ROO: Mama I love the rain, Do you think the rain will help Rabbit’s vegetables grow even bigger?

KANGA: I’m sure a good rainstorm will help Rabbit’s garden!

TIGGER: I like to try and catch the drops on my tongue. Come here raindrops, get back over here.

ALL: Boom, rumble, rumble, rumble.

CHRISTOPHERROBIN: Friends, that was thunder! Everyone quickly gather under the big oak tree to stay safe and dry. The storm should pass soon.

RABBIT: Thunder always makes me nervous. I can feel my tail twitching, and my teeth chattering. I need a hug.

GOPHER: Rabbit, I agree. Whenever there’s a storm hide in the ground as deep as I can.

PIGLET: It’s all right, gopher, it’s all right, Rabbit, we just have to remember we are among our friends and safe under the big oak tree with

CHRISTOPHERROBIN: Be brave!

ALL: Boom, rumble, rumble, rumble.

GOPHER/RABBIT: Aah!

OWL: According to my observations I have made with my eyes by looking at the clouds, it seems like the storm is finally starting to pass.

PIGLET: That’s such good news, because I don’t think I can stay brave through one more lightning strike and crack of thunder.

NARRATOR: And just as Christopher Robin and Owl predicted, the rain storm blew away as fast as it arrived.

OWL: Now see, look the rain has almost stopped. Just as I suspected, this was a swift summer thunderstorm that cleared up into a lovely day for a picnic. If only all of our food wasn’t spoiled in the rain.

NARRATOR: And the friends stopped listening to the rain and started listening to a different sort of noise coming from the top of the tree.

RABBIT: What is that buzzing?

CHRISTOPHERROBIN: Do you hear that? It sounds like it’s coming from the top of the big oak tree.

RABBIT: It is. I wonder what it could be? Perhaps a dragon, or perhaps a heffalump!

PIGLET: A big scary loud heffalump that would trample over a small piglet like me? Oh dear!

EEYORE: I’m not sure what the buzzing is, or where it’s coming from, but I know I’ve heard it before. I’m sure I’ve heard it when I was with Winnie the Pooh, not that anyone wants to know.

WINNIE THE POOH: The only reason things buzz, is because they are bees. And if they are bees, as I think they are, then their job is to make honey. And a Pooh bear’s only job, is to eat it.

PIGLET: But Pooh bear, the nest is so high, how will you ever climb up to get the honey? It looks too dangerous to me. How scary!

TIGGER: Have no fear, Tigger is here! I’ll just bounce up to the top of the tree and get some honey! Oh shucks, getting honey is not what Tiggers do best.

GOPHER: That’s all right Tigger, perhaps a bee will flyby and we can politely ask if it could

spare some for our snack.

WINNIE THE POOH: That would be delicious. Because I believe our snacks are very wet, as they didn’t have the good sense to get out of the rain like we all did.

CHRISTOPHERROBIN: But Pooh bear if you would just listen, I brought.

OWL: As the bees are my neighbors in the large oak tree, I can tell you they don’t care much for sharing. They mostly prefer to not share.

EEYORE: Well perhaps there is a way you could sneak up to the top of the tree without them knowing. If only we were the rain clouds, then we could reach the top of the tree.

WINNIE THE POOH: Why Eeyore, that’s it! I will pretend to be a small rain cloud blowing by one that didn’t quite make it to and from the first storm. Since it just rained, the bees will never know the difference.

GOPHER: We can disguise you with some dirt, lucky for you know where there happens to be a great deal of fresh mud. Gee wiz is there a lot of fresh mud.

RABBIT: Gopher, that is fine, but now we just have a pooh bear covered in mud on the ground. How will we ever get Pooh bear to reach the top of the tree?

GOPHER: Well gee whiz, I didn’t think about that part.

ROO: Pooh bear, I have a balloon that I saved from my birthday. If Christopher Robin would blow it up for you, you could float to the top of the tree, just like a raincloud!

KANGA: My kind little Roo! I am so proud of you for sharing. I’ll have to get you some more balloons from Christopher Robin.

TIGGER: Great idea little buddy! I think I may have a balloon from your party too, and sharing is what Tiggers do best! I’ll bounce by and get all the balloons I can find.

CHRISTOPHERROBIN: But Pooh Bear, listen to me, I have more…

ROO: Look, Mama, look, Tigger is back with the balloons! Christopher Robin would you blow these balloons up for us please?

CHRISTOPHERROBIN: All right.

RABBIT: I happen to have some extra string that I was using to make a small fence to keep heffalumps out of my garden. We can tie it to the balloons!

TIGGER: Oh Pooh bear! You’re going to be higher than I’ve ever bounced, tell me what the view is like from the top of the tree!

ROO: Thank you for getting the balloons ready Christopher Robin, now pooh bear, hold on tight, and up you go!

ALL: One, two, three.

POOH: Oh what a wonderful sight for a rumbly, tummy. I can see the ground getting farther and father, and honey getting closer and closer. Hello dear bees, don’t mind me, I am just a small raincloud here to borrow some honey.

BEES: Not from us!

EEYORE: Do you think you’ve fooled the bees Pooh bear?

KANGA: Is Roo’s balloon doing the trick? You’re so high up in the tree you must be able to reach the bee’s nest.

OWL: Dear Pooh bear, I do fear that I hear the buzzing of the bees becoming angrier and angrier. I believe they know that you are not a raincloud and indeed a bear. Beware of the bees!

WINNIE THE POOH: Oh dear, I think you’re right owl. Now that I am closer I see that these are the wrong kind of bees, and while they make honey they are not the kind of bees that share.

NARRATOR: And just as pooh thought, the bees were getting angrier, and angrier the closer and closer the balloon climbed, until all of the sudden one of the bees got a very brave idea and stung the balloons keeping Pooh bear in the air.

ALL: Pop.

WINNIE THE POOH: Oh bother.

ALL: Crash.

CHRISTOPHERROBIN: Pooh bear, silly old friend, what I’ve been trying to tell you is I brought more honey for you. It’s been here the whole time.

WINNIE THE POOH: Oh what a tasty treat! Falling out of the oak tree does make a pooh bear’s tummy rumbly.

ALL: Silly old bear.

Кролик: Oh, hello Pooh bear. Pooh bear? Uh..uh…what a pleasant surprise. Uh… How about

lunch?

Пух:Oh, thank you. Rabbit..

Кролик:..and help yourself, Pooh

Кролик:Would you like honey or condensed milk with your bread?

Пух:Both, but don’t bother about the bread, please. Just a small helping, if you please

Кролик:There you are…Is something wrong?

Пух:Well..I did mean a little large small helping

Кролик:Perhaps, it would save time if you took the whole jar?

Пух:Thank you, Rabbit

Пух:Oh, hello Owl

Сова:Splendid day to be up and…Oh..I say.. Are you stuck?

Пух: No, no…just resting and thinking and humming to myself

Сова:You, sir, are stuck! Now, obviously this situation calls for an expert!

Крот:Somebody call for an expert? I`m not in the book, but I am in your service. Here`s my

card. What`s the problem?

Сова: Yes, yes, yes.. It seems the entrance to Rabbit`s house is impassable..

Крот:And you want me to dig it out?

Крот:First thing to be done is get rid of that bear. He`s gumming up the whole project

Сова: Dash-it-all. He is a project!

Крот:Big job..Take two or three days

Пух:Three days?! What about lunches?

Крот:No problem..I always go home for lunch. Oh, it will run into money!

Сова:Oh..Is ay..how much?

Крот:Do the job for hourly rate, plus cover materials, plus overtime, plus 10 percent

Сова: And your estimate?

Крот:Nope, can`t give an estimate. Too risky!

Сова:Blast-it-all

Крот:Good idea! We`ll dynamite, save time!

Сова:What`s the charge?

Крот:Nope, no charge account. I work strictly cash

Сова:Obviously, but I should think..

Крот:I got a tight schedule! If you think it over. Let me know.

Пух:Oh, it`s no use. I`m stuck

Кристофер:Well, if we can`t pull you out, perhaps we can push you back

Кролик:Oh no, no that

Кристофер: Pooh bear, there`s only one thing we can do. Wait for you get thin again

Пух: Oh, bother. How long will that take?

Ослик: Days, weeks, months. Who knows?

Кролик:Oh, dear. If I have to face that thing for months, I might as well make the best of it.

Hmm…yes, a frame. And a splash of colour…hunting…OK

Кенга: Pooh? Roo has a little surprise for you

РУ: Flowers!

Пух: Honeysuckle!

Кенга:No, Pooh, you don`t eat them. You smell them!

Пух: Oh… (вдыхает)

Кролик: that`s not bad! (пух собирается чихнуть) Ohno! Help! Why did I ever invite this

bear to lunch? Why..why..why…

Автор: Day after day, night after lonely night

Пух: I wonder what`s for breakfast…храп..злойкролик…lunch…

Выходит крот с lunchbox, злой кролик выбегает и ставит табличку «Don`t feed the bear»

Автор: …and then, one morning, when Rabbit was beginning to think that he might never be

able to use his front door again. It happened!

Кролик: He budget! Hooray! Christopher Robin! Today is that day!

Все: Hooray for you

Пух: Hooray for me

Все: (song) Hooray, hooray, the Pooh will soon be free! Dum de dum de dum de dum. Now the

time has come for proving. What the diet did for Pooh. And since we pledged he`d be unwedged.

That`s what we`re going to do. He`ll be pulled and he`ll be tagget and eventually unplugged.

We`ll have a tug-of-war to open Rabbit`s door. Think heave-age, think ho-age. And out the Pooh

will go-age. And out the Pooh will go-age. For mind over matter. Has made the Pooh un-fatter

Heave, ho

Heave, heave, heave, heave, heave…..

Ослик:Oh…stuck again..

Кристофер:Don`t worry Pooh. We`ll get you out.

Пух: No hurry. Take your time! Yum, yum…
